Track work! The push is go for us to move into the new storage building. We will be working every weekend trying to lay new track into the facility. Thanks to Ralph, we now have a new switch, with more being built. Once we have the tracks connected and a transfer lift working, we will be moving all equipment, both SLS owned as well as member's stuff, into the new building. EVERYTHING MUST GO! We will also be packing up the clubhouse as the old building is schedule to be demolished. Our tool shed will be moved into the first open bay, along with the air compressor. All of our Christmas decorations will be stored in the tool shed. Come November, we face the annual task of decorating for Holiday Lights.
It's going to be a busy year! With us moving into a new building, facing storage issues, loss of the clubhouse and whatever challenges we face during the construction of the new Model Railroad Museum, it promises to be an exciting year.
